Frequently Asked Questions
About Pelvic Health & WellnessHelping You Feel Confident and Informed
What makes ReGenerate Physiotherapy different?
We specialize exclusively in pelvic health—and that’s all we do. Our care is personal, thorough, and hands-on. Every session is one-on-one with your dedicated therapist, and we work to uncover the root cause—not just chase symptoms. We treat the whole person, not just the pelvic floor.
What should I expect at my first visit?
You’ll be welcomed into a private, calm treatment space. Your therapist will take time to hear your full story—there’s no rush. You’ll receive a full-body evaluation, begin treatment the same day, and leave with a clear plan tailored to your goals.
I've done pelvic PT before—how is this different?
We hear this a lot. Many of our patients have seen other providers before finding us. Our approach is highly individualized, and we go deeper—addressing things like scar tissue, nerve tension, and core dysfunction that are often overlooked elsewhere.
Do I need a referral or prescription to start?
Nope! Georgia is a direct access state, which means you can see a physical therapist without a prescription. We’re happy to coordinate with your doctor, but you don’t need a referral to book an evaluation.
Is this just about Kegels?
Not at all. In fact, Kegels are not the right move for many of our patients. We focus on helping you connect to your body, restore optimal function, and support strength and mobility in a much more comprehensive way.
Do you only treat postpartum moms?
Nope. While we do specialize in pregnancy and postpartum recovery, we also treat teens, athletes, peri/menopausal women, men with pelvic pain or urinary issues, and anyone with pelvic health concerns. If you have a pelvis—we’re here for you.
How long will I need to come?
It really depends on your body and your goals. Some people feel relief in just a few sessions, while others with more complex issues may need longer care. We’ll map that out with you honestly, and we reassess along the way.
Will I be doing exercises the whole time?
Not necessarily. While movement is important, we also use manual therapy, neuromuscular retraining, breath work, and hands-on techniques. Every session is customized—you won’t find cookie-cutter programs here.
